This week was a busy one for the team at Steelo. We had the opportunity to attend Farnborough International Airshow, one of the biggest airshows in the world. This gave us a chance to meet with industry professionals and discuss our latest developments in 3D printing of metal. It was a great opportunity to network and build new relationships. In addition, we were able to see some amazing aircraft displays!
Day one of the trade show was the busiest, with our discussions focusing on the steel industry, modular fabrication and the 3D printing of metal. Michael, Adam, Liam and Hussain were able to talk to a variety of professionals about their experiences with this new technology whilst showcasing our own. Some of the highlights of the day included meeting with the representatives from all over the world in the fabrication industry and learning about new software that can aid the 3D printing of metal parts. Overall, it was a productive day filled with valuable insights into this rapidly evolving industry.
On the second day of the air show, Michael, Hubert and Liam continued to build new relationships with other companies. The day was the hottest of the year, but that didn’t stop them from networking. They met with representatives from various companies in the aviation, space and energy industries and discussed what Steelo can offer to them within the manufacturing lines and construction of new locations. Many of the companies showed keen interest in our technology. Many of these have already scheduled to visit our depot in West London to see how we operate.
The third day of the air show was a quieter one, which gave the team more freedom to explore and enjoy the aircraft static and flying displays. Liam and Adam were joined by Magda, and they spend the day exploring the different exhibits. One of the highlights was the Space industry exhibit, which showcased the latest advances in UK space aviation and a vast array of start-ups and companies with active contracts.
On our fourth day of the air show, we took the opportunity to revisit some of the teams we had spoken to earlier in the week. It was a great opportunity to strengthen relationships and pick up some free items. We also had the chance to explore the static aircraft displays, to see what parts of an aircraft our 3D printing services can be applied.
The fifth and final day of the air show was packed with locals eager to see the Red Arrows and grab some freebies from some of the world leaders in aviation. It was a great opportunity to showcase what our company can do for the community and to have local businesses talk to us about our structural steel fabrication and 3D printing services. It was wonderful to see so many people showing an interest in what we do.
Overall, it was a great week for the team at Steelo. We met with some amazing people, saw some incredible displays and strengthened relationships with existing clients. We are delighted to of had this opportunity and look forward to more like these in the future. Thank you to everyone who spoke to and visited us during the week and thanks to Farnborough International Airshow for putting on an incredible show!
